Day 72 - Great Scott!
We drove up to Oklahoma on Friday, March 13, to visit my parents but made a pit stop in Elgin, Oklahoma to visit my cousin and take her maternity photos. During the maternity shoot my cousin, Heather, was a bit saddened by overcast skies and lack of sunset colors. After the shoot we drove into Lawton for dinner, and of course, during the drive, the sun peeped out just in time to blast across the sky soaking Mount Scott in radiant colors. Oranges, blues, purples, and so many others spattered over the horizon like a perfect Bob Ross painting.
We ooed and awwed over the sunset when I joked about wanting to pull over, luckily I have an awesome cousin SO ready that she said "Really?!" I emphatically agreed and next thing I knew we were on the side of the road and I was out of the truck. The thing is, the sunset got even prettier... so Heather pulled over again, and this was the result.
Thanks Heather for risking your life for the sake of my art!
