365 Photo Project - Day 65 - Take a Bite

Day 65 - Take a Bite

Composite photos have intrigued me for some time. In fact, I think they are really how I got into photography. I was always fascinated with what people could do with Photoshop. So long before I even owned my first point and shoot camera, I got a copy of Photoshop and I toyed with it. I sat with one of my friends, Scogs, while he worked on Photoshop; I learned eagerly. From there, I got really tired of using stock images, they were so limited, I wanted to use photos I took, so I began being interested in photography.

My styles changes, my interests evolved, but my love for interesting composites has stayed. today's photo is a very simple composite, one photo with the fire screen up, and the other without it. I masked out a triangle of the screen using the image without the screen. I wanted to use a simple shape, triangle, and make it asymmetrical as the whole image was very symmetrical. Hope you enjoy.
