Day 53 - Last Departure
When you're on a 7 day vacation and you have a total of 7 flights, and spending countless hours in the airport, you take a lot of airport photos. On the morning of the February 22, we woke up at 2:30am to catch a shuttle at 2:55am for a 5:30am departure. That flight took us to Houston for a 4 hour layover before our final flight home.
Our vacation was the most crazy, least resting vacating I have ever had, but it was a blast and my favorite part is that I got to do it all with my patient wife, who is willing to follow me anywhere, even if it means sleeping in an airport and on a plane.
While waiting for our last flight and realizing that I had not taken a photo that day, I sat in my chair waiting for an opportune time. Usually the people came in spurts down the hall, but this one little lady came down looking for her gate, it ended up being my favorite shot of the day.
