Day 47 - Anticipation
On February 16, we did not make it onto our flight for the second day in a row. With Phill and his wife Michelle moving apartments, we did not want to be a burden for a third night (especially when they only signed up for one night!). We decided to sleep in the airport, something I have done a number of times, but was a first for Stephanie, and if you haven't done it... don't.
The one upside to sleeping in the airport was the beautiful sunset we saw. I ran around the terminal taking photos from every possible angle of every possible object with every possible framing; I couldn't get enough. This was a welcome blessing as we had been at the airport since 7am that morning (at this point we are about 12 hours into what will be a 36 hour stay at the airport).
As the night wound down I took my favorite shot of the evening and knew it would be the photo of the day.
