Day 36 - Hands
My car broke down today. I went out to the car, unlocked the door, got in, and nothing. I realized the lights weren't on, the odometer reading wasn't lit up, absolutely no power. I've had a similar issue before and it was a loose battery terminal, but after playing around with it I couldn't get it to work. My friend Brian came to help me take a look. We tried jumping the car, which was, of course, fruitless.
Brian drove me over to Autozone to have the battery checked, and while we left it to charge we picked up new terminals for the battery and got back to the car to try those out (but not without getting Little Caesar's pizza and checking out his new place, of course). After all was said and done the power still wasn't getting to the inside of the car. So here I sit, in my office, as my wonderful wife comes to rescue me from the clasps of a cold and dark evening.
Brian and I took turns working on the car, I managed to snag a photo while Brian was working. Seriously, Brian, thank you.
