Day 23 - Unlucky

Have you ever had an unlucky streak? Where it seems like everything is going wrong? A few years ago I got 7 flat tires over the course of 6 months, I still do not know how it's possible, but I managed to pull it off.

On one flat-tire-occasion I was taking a large overpass from 635 towards 75 when I heard it hit. I had to pull to a tiny pizza slice of a media in between the forks towards 75 South and 75 North, it seemed like it was about the size of a pizza slice too. To enhance the disparity of how I expected my commute to go and how it actually went even more, my tire iron had been left at home; I had a donut tire, and no way to put it on. My dad came to my aid as soon as he could but it was still 45 minutes later. As an avid pipe smoker, I took advantage of the situation and did my best to relax as people drove by blaring their horns, angry because I had the audacity to get a flat tire. It really was a beautiful view, though.

On my way home today I made a split-second decision, slammed onto my breaks and pulled over to that same tiny pizza slice to give you a glimpse into what I saw.
