Day 15 - Inadequate Space
I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times my brothers and I begged my parents to let us throw on our swimsuits and set up the sprinkler. Dashing back and forth across the yard, numerous games created with one end result, getting soaked in a a frivolous effort to abate the hot Houston summer.
There's this fountain in front of a Renaissance hotel in Richardson, just north of Dallas. The fountain is a bit fancier than our sprinkler, but it exists for the same purpose. During the summer the fountain is filled with children running around, enjoying the cool water and beating the summer heat.
Unfortunately, my wide-angle lens is not quite as wide as I would have liked it, I had inadequate space to capture the full hotel... that nicked corner is really bothersome, but I was able to capture what I hope is nostalgic of those summers.
