365 Photo Project - Day 14 - Stairwells

Day 14 - Stairwells

Over the last year or so I have watched this building under construction. Over the last year I've told myself I'd pull over and take a photo soon, but of course, I held off knowing I'd eventually do it. Today I decided it was time, though I didn't take anywhere near the photo I had envisioned. I had just finished rock climbing so I was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and flip-flops, you know, proper gym attire. It was about 37 degrees and a jacket would have done little help to warm my feet. I had envisioned a nice wide-angle shot with a very long exposure, maybe some light trails from cars, but instead, I was so cold I didn't want to change the lens from my camera, so I kept the 50mm 1.8 on. And instead of a wide, sweeping shot, I got a narrow shot. I'm extremely satisfied.
